There are ongoing problems with the printing of some PDF files which outputs lots of garbage printing and is resulting in printers running out of paper.
This may include files from inside Learn.
To print a PDF file in Learn you must first save it to either your home drive or to a USB/External drive.
To save a pdf, roll the mouse over the pdf and look for the disk icon(see image below).

This is a reminder that the Learn service will be unavailable while we carry
out work to move the Learn database from its existing servers. This includes
Mobile Learn and the Learn channel in MyEd.
The work will run
from 17.00 GMT on Friday 14th March
until 21.00 GMT on Saturday 15th March.
There will be a further "at risk" period from 21.00 Saturday 15th March
until 12.00 on Monday 17th March.
This work was previously notified in early February and we have adjusted to
user needs as far as possible.
It is essential that we move the Learn database before other planned
infrastructure work in April. We have therefore chosen a "least bad" option
which allows us to carry out this work before the period of peak demand for
the service in the run-up to examinations. We are grateful to colleagues
working to allow us to carry out this move at a weekend when demand for the
service is at its lowest.
